They Cry For Help

They cry for help! But do we hear them? Those bound, held captive by the enemy. Emotionally, mentally and physically traumatised. The homeless, the hungry, the thirsty, the sick, the poor.

Are we listening, or have we closed our ears? Do we see them, or turn aside?

WWJD.... or should it be "what did Jesus do!".

In His Glorious Name Ministries

Why No Personal Photos

I was recently asked why there are no personal photos of family on our ministry blogs. I have considered placing photography of that sort up, and we do have a Online Family Blog spot.

The reason why I have refrained from such is because as I look at the many online ministry sites I find more Glory being given to men, teachers, ministries, the we's and us's, than I do to Christ, the Kingdom of God or His Word. Whereas many times I personally feel that the Kingdom of God, and the word of God is more so used to exhalt men, their ministries and to build ministries. But that's my personal opinion.

Therefore, I determined long ago to seek to do all things to the Glory of God, share the love of Christ, His Redeeming Passion, Encouragement, the Word of God, and simply refrain from taking the Glory.

That's also why the ministry is named To His Glorious Name Ministries. Because truly it's all about Christ.

Have You Seen Little John

Little John lives in many communities, and is seen on many streets within our communities. You see John is the innocent child that got caught up in a divorce. He's the son without a father through a death. He's the son without a dad through a crime. He's the son without the love and guidance of a father because of a adulterous situation that brought destruction upon a family and household. Little John is the kid down the street, that kid walking home from school all alone with his head down, the kid that shows up all alone at the community gathering and has a hard time connecting. He's the kid that others pick on because the household income lacks and the clothes he wears are hand me downs. Little John is found everywhere.
Please pray and consider the little John's of your community, and also pray for the little Suzie's, the little Ann's, the little Barbara's, and all the fatherless children among us.

Thank you.
